LOL! I like how you think. :) So many good things to choose from--if I lived closer, well, it would probably be a bad thing!

Oh it is soooo worth the drive!!! We stop each time we go to Bailey's (sometimes it is the reason we go to Bailey's) and if we leave early enough . . . we stop both ways!! It's the bakery my mom always went to when she was a little kid growing up in Tefft, Indiana.

They are my most favorite thing. I admit I got one, licked the middle, then realized I should have taken a photo. Oops! Free cookies? Now, that's just cool.

I love their cream filled horns! They are huge!!! I remember as a kid I could only eat half of it then give it to my mom lol. I have wonderful memories of me and my cousin, Billy running to the bakery from my house where we would get a free cookie. Each time I visit family around there I make a stop to the bakery if only for the wonderful memories.

I do believe that this is the bakery where we used to drive to from Wheatfield for the PLUMB CAKE, pastery. This was about 1959 or so and it was delicious.

The Chocolate Delight cake should definitely be a top priority to try at Fingerhut Bakery. It is one of the best cakes I have ever had. Fingerhut Bakery is still the best bakery I have been to.
