Does This Make Me Strange and Creepy? I’m Okay with That.

A Cemetery in the Middle of Nowhere

In keeping with the Halloween Spirit, I have a confession to make: I love wandering around old cemeteries.  Is that strange?

I like the way they look, the quiet.  From the incredibly grand headstones to the time-worn simple gravestones, I just find it all so interesting.  Who were these people?  What did they want out of life?  Most importantly, did they get it?

Isn't this an awesome shot?

Fascinating, don’t you think?

If you’re weird I’m weird too. I find it all fascinating as well and peaceful in a way. When I go I want to be put in a cemetery that allows the big stand up headstones. I don’t like the thought of someone driving a lawnmower over my grave marker. Is it weird that I’ve thought about that?

OH no! Now I have something new to worry about…I never thought about the lawnmower! Drat. ;)
