Mathew’s Tree Farm and Pumpkin Patch
All these years and I thought that a pumpkin came in only 2 colors: Orange and White. After a visit to Mathew’s Pumpkin Patch? I was quickly set straight.
Cinderella, Fairytale, Sandstone, Golden Pan and New England Sugar–these aren’t new crayon colors, they are actual pumpkin varieties.
From black to flaming orange to yellow stripes, from smooth to bumpy, Mathew’s Tree Farm and Pumpkin Patch has it!
Indiana Pumpkin Patch
Walk through the rows of Indiana pumpkins and see if you don’t want to take home each and every one! The prices are so reasonable you almost could.
The couple who own the farm in this great Indiana town is super nice as well. Not only that, but they also produce their own honey from their own bees. It is delicious!
Of course, as soon as we got home, I had to bake some bread so we could do a taste test the right way. The verdict? Definitely better than the little bear containers at the store.
A Plethora of Pumpkins
If you are tired of the same old ho-hum orange pumpkins and want to really make a statement this Halloween, without breaking the bank, make your way to Mathew’s Pumpkin and Christmas Tree Farm in Rensselaer, Indiana.
Perhaps you can even grab some pumpkins for my Pumpkin Muffins recipe. Either way, this is a fantastic Indiana pumpkin patch!

I went to a pumpkin show this weekend and I saw so many different kinds of pumpkins and squashes that I could never keep track of all of them. I love their colors because they remind me of my favorite season of the year, fall.
My fave season of the year is Fall if you minus the flu and sickness everyone gets this time of year! Never knew about the other kind of pumpkins, how cool! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Ugh. Don’t get me started about the whole flu thing!
But, yeah, the rest of it is *all* good!
I had no idea that there were different colors! I like your site! We travel to Illinois a lot, but if we ever come to Indiana, I will stop by here 1st!
Happy Halloween!

Ok I didn’t even realize pumpkins came in white let alone all the other colors. They are so pretty!
Oh, you poor deprived thing!
They are neat, though, aren’t they! I wanted to take them all home — hubs said NO. Ha ha!
Those are amazing! I’d never seen those growing pu, but have loved them the last few years. So cool!
Gorgeous photography. Beautiful pumpkins, and so cheap! Would you believe it I couldn’t find any for Halloween in this weird little country I live in now? Everything about this place makes me miss simple things back home like going to a pumpkin patch. Thanks for sharing!
What’s Halloween without PUMPKINS?
But, then, I guess it probably isn’t celebrated like it is here, either.
Cute site! A great idea, and a great service for your fellow, uh, Indianians?
