Just returned home from Kentland. My father is from Kentland & I spent a lot of summers in Kentland as a child, visiting my Grandparents. Kentland is really small town USA. We always make at least one trip to Don's Drive-In, Good Table restaurant, Sharpes & Murphy's grocery store. Check out the inside of the post office and the florist shop next door. They still look like they did 30+ years ago.

Wow, this reminds me of my little town here in SC. Small towns are the best place to live. So relaxed and the personal service is priceless.

Hi, I'm stopping by from SITS! I just wanted to share a bit of comment love.? Kentland looks very beautiful and very much like the historic town that my family and I live in. We have lots of very old and gorgeous homes with a beautiful court square. We have lived here for 20 years and I just can't imagine living anywhere else - well, except maybe retiring to the Blue Ridge mountains one day! :0)

Well, it's nice to 'meet' you! I hope the rest of your week is absolutely amazing!

Stopping by from SITS and a little further south in Indiana. I'll have to mapquest Kentland...I have no idea where it's at, but it sounds more north than me (halfway b/w Indy and Louisville).

What a great little spot! My husband and I roadtrip quite often and we always wonder what we are missing when we're doodling along. It's nice to see what's out there!

Cheers!
