Palm Sago Bonsai from Proflowers.com
The farmer’s market (and all its glorious local plants) aren’t exactly a year round event here in little Indianaand not every small town has a local florist.

For those that don’t, well, I’d like to introduce you to Proflowers.com, who graciously offered to send little Indiana one item of my choice for an honest review.

ProFlowers.com Review

Well, I do go out of my way for food quite often so sending food through the mail just isn’t me but sending something living and usable? Totally.

Let me just say that I am beyond impressed! This baby was packed amazingly well–and it’s big! Tape held the 16” tall plant in place and prevented dirt from spraying out all over the place during shipping.

The leaves mostly look healthy. I’ve got a couple funky curling leaves but those will heal in time. Plus, they have a prickly feel which should effectively deter the large orange kitties in our house.

ProFlowers Delight

If I sent one of these pretty plants to someone, they would be delighted.

What a wonderful reminder of summer during the dreadfully long winter!
