little Indiana loves a good antique shop! Treasures R Us in Whiting, Indiana was not only good–it was fun! They have a neat variety of things, from an old 1880′s commode to those cutesy little aprons that are totally back in fashion right now.
She’s got an awfully cute little kitchen area with old fashioned gadgets and complimentary kitchen decor. The cabinets are adorable! I was surprised to learn that that is her actual kitchen!
Yes, the owner also lives in part of this downtown antique shop with her happy little dog and I can see why. It’s neat! I’d move in if she’d let me!
She says that people often ask about purchasing items accidentally left air drying in the sink–but they are her actual glasses! I think that’s just funny. A look around the tidy kitchen and I can see why. They are cute glasses!
Like any antique shop, there’s usually a mix of items. Of course, that’s definitely true of Treasures R Us in Whiting, Indiana! There are cookbooks, figurines, and all sorts of unique stuff. It’s a fun little shop to browse!
I enjoyed checking out the mix of antique furniture. She had some beautiful pieces. From what I could tell, they look to be in incredible condition–which you know can be super hard to find sometimes! Really, everything looked to be in great shape.
Treasures R Us was a great little antique shop to poke around in. Add that to the other antique shops in Whiting, Indiana and you will have quite the antique shopping extravaganza!
