Visit the Milan Hoosiers Museum in Milan, Indiana and learn all about the people behind this historic win. Hey, it’s not every day that a movie is made from a small town story.
The story of the 1954 Milan, Indiana Hoosiers win against the giant Muncie school is just fantastic–and inspiring!
Make sure to leave yourself plenty of time to browse because this Southern Indiana museum will keep you busy! Let’s just say that there’s enough there to read, flip through, and look at to keep you occupied and engrossed for quite a spell. It was really, really neat–and I can’t recommend a visit here enough!

Special thank you to Roselyn M (Milan’s biggest cheerleader!) at the Hoosier ’54 Museum for opening up on her day off! It was greatly appreciated. Thanks also to Katherine Taul of Ripley County Tourism for taking us there! Opinions, as always, remain my own.
