As soon as we walked in, Kid #1 walked over and sat in a chair with a book. There’s a few breakables here of course–I guess he wasn’t taking any chances! While I was browsing around the Indiana antique shop, the owner was quick to point out a few pieces of interest. How did I miss these?
She’s got an 1880’s British Soldier’s drum! Now that’s something you don’t see every day! Wouldn’t you love to know the story behind that one?
Kid #2 referred to that one, excitedly, as “um!” I’m glad that one was located up high and out of reach otherwise I’m sure the youngest member of our family would be trying it out. That’s not all!

There’s also a few fantastic French pieces–we’re talking inlaid wood and in really, really great condition! You know, the kind of thing I think I could handle owning after the kids are all grown up and moved out! Just beautiful.

About the middle of the store you’ll see a whole bunch of dishware. Isn’t that just fun? There’s really great patterns and styles here.
