A very long time ago little Indiana and family visited the train-lovers paradise known as the Monon Connection Museum in Monon, Indiana.

Do you remember this one? It is thought to be the largest detailed train collection in the world! With a full-sized train depot replica, loads of memorabilia, and even train cars, I certainly believe it! This Monon, Indiana attraction deserved a second look.

If you’ve been looking for an Indiana train museum–you’ve found it. A private collection available to all (for a fee), this is certainly unique. See? I told you there was more than corn and race cars in little Indiana!

We stopped in the Monon Connection Museum this last Sunday. It was great! There is so much information and history. Our two grandsons got to try on a “real” conductor’s hat while we took their pictures. Then we tried to pick which train running through the place was our favorite. Meal was great too. On the outside we went into a great caboose, complete with pottie and sink. The owner showed us all the railroad gate lights and sounds. We all had a great time. Thanks for all you do on Little Indiana!
