Salem United Church of Christ: Huntingburg, Indiana

Salem United Church of Christ is just outside of the downtown area of Huntingburg, Indiana.

While this Indiana church is interesting, there’s no historic placard on this site. Huntingburg has a few unique claims to fame–and one of them involves this very church!

Somehow, this small Indiana town has had not one, not two, not three, but four, FOUR different movies filmed in and around it!

For Salem United Church of Christ, that claim to fame was Hard Rain–a movie with Christian Slater, Morgan Freeman, and Minnie Driver (among others).

I think it just goes to show that you never can tell in a small town. Like I always say, there’s always something unique: a place to eat, something to do, or, in this case, something to see!
