I love a good Indiana antique shop. I love the way they smell and the way it looks when things are piled up and towering every which way. Really, I love the hunt!
It always makes me feel like something incredible could be hiding right nearby if I only take the time to dig it out.
Downtown Emporium has a lot of different types of items arranged in lots of different ways! Some antique, some not so antique–but fun either way!

We found a really nice selection of vintage toys: cars and trucks, board games, and action figures. It kept the boys busy!
Seriously, there were a lot of those old metal toys. Fire trucks in particular caught my eye. Very cool.
But this Indiana antique shop is more than just a place to find the usual sort of antiques.
With so many vendors, you can find everything from dishware to furniture to books and rag rugs. It’s a good place to browse.
