Doublehead Trading Company in Cambridge City, Indiana might be in a town with no shortage of antique shops, but it is a hub of unusual and unique items. It’s not every shop owner that will open up with a “hello” and a “Do you want to see the oldest stuffed chihuahua?” Kids who love to tinker, like our first-born son, will love the baskets of stuff scattered around the store.
With so much to see, plan to spend more than a little time rummaging through all the good stuff in this downtown Cambridge City, Indiana antique shop. If you can think of it, it’s probably here. Get a load of the old doors in the back–they are the style that reside in our own 1901 Victorian home. You just don’t know what you’ll find when you visit. Don’t miss the glass cases in the front. They hold some really sharp pieces! And, of course, make it a point to pop in and see the room of Ball jars whether you are in the market for a few antiques or not.
Kind of neat, don’t you think? Like I said, Marty has lots of neat and unusual Indiana antiques. As a part of Indiana’s Antique Alley, it sets itself apart with the range of unusual items. Go check it out!
