Ice cream season doesn’t need to end if you happen to be near Dairy Master in Loogootee, Indiana! More than just life saving cool treats, they are known for their breaded pork tenderloin (and folks seem to enjoy the Patty Melt, too).
It was pretty hopping when we zipped on in! While many choose the carhop service at Dairy Master, our air conditioner had stopped working…in 104* heat! Whew! We needed somewhere to soak up the AC and cool off–and am I ever glad we found this Loogootee, Indiana favorite!
This was good. So good, in fact, that I could have easily planted myself there for quite awhile. I only wish we had been able to grab lunch! But after sitting in that heat? Ice cream was it!
