Spring No. 8 Deli at French Lick Springs Resort in French Lick, Indiana

French Lick Springs Resort in French Lick, Indiana has no shortage of places to eat–and Springs #8 Deli was a great option.

Located near the pool, Springs No. 8 Deli holds a more casual and relaxed type of atmosphere than some of the other dining choices.

Things to Do in French Lick, IndianaThis place, though small, is really busy. It also covers the pool area so it’s usually hopping.

The menu boasts a variety of sandwiches and a couple of salads. While I was deciding between the Spring No. 8 Club or the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap, my husband, Jeremy, picked out the French Lick Hoagie. Boiled Ham, Provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a house dressing.

Our boys choose easily enough this time. Kid #1 quickly decided on Chicken Strips while Kid #2 wanted a Hot Dog. No one saw that coming, right?

We had a rather long wait for our food. While we were waiting, Kid #2 eventually grew tired of people watching. He decided to entertain himself by sticking the narrow sugar packets into the table. It was pretty cute.

But when our food arrived we wasted no time. We dug right in. After all the swimming and bike riding and everything else, we were so ready to eat. My Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap was fantastic. Just fantastic. My husband took a taste–and then asked for another.

His sandwich was good, the kids were very happy with their order, and we had a full five minutes of silence while the kids mowed down. That makes it a “win” right there.

Overall, we were very pleased with our choices. It is worth a stop if you are already at French Lick Springs Resort and want something a bit lighter and inexpensive without having to get all dressed up. I’d recommend the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap for sure.

There is just so much to see and do at French Lick Springs Resort. Spring No. 8 Deli is only one of several restaurants. I’ve already covered Power Plant Bar and Grill (and my delicious, delicious Reuben sandwich). If you head to Spring No. 8, make sure to bring something for the kids to do just in case your wait ends up a little long.

You’ll have to stay tuned to see more great places to play and eat at this beautiful Orange County lodging option.
