Inside this glittering Indiana resort you’ll find a family-friendly venue with 8 lanes. It’s nothing fancy but it’s still a nice way to spend a too hot afternoon. Now, there are things that I do because I enjoy them and there are things that I do because I love to annihilate others. When it comes to bowling? I’m in for total annihilation. Okay, so once upon a time my bowling team and I (back when I was a kid) were in the Nation’s Top Ten.

Yeah, we kind of rocked. Every so often–I still manage to pull off a great game against my husband. I couldn’t wait to pull on those stylin’ shoes and start the game. I love to take the kids out and bowl.

Six pound bowling bowls are behind the counter, so if you need one for the smaller members of your family, just ask the attendant. One more thing: there’s also an arcade.

It’s not huge but it was exciting enough for our two boys. Okay, even my husband, Jeremy, and I found something to do. It’s nothing fancy. Truthfully, it could use a little updating. Edited to Add: It looks like they have since added newer games like Guitar Hero and Hoop Fever.

Even so, there’s a pool table, air hockey, Foosball, and an assortment of older arcade games like Cruis’n Exotica and one of my favorite games of all time. Helo, Galaga. I just love it and can’t help but play it anywhere, anytime I see it.

Seriously, it’s near the top of my list for great games . It makes sense–I spent a lot of time at the bowling alley as a kid so I got in plenty of practice. Hey, I even got a high score. The boys had a lot of fun in here. The youngest is too little to know that he isn’t actually doing anything when he grabs handles and mashes buttons. It makes him feel like pretty big stuff.
