Rock-a-Bye Lady Children’s Boutique in Madison, Indiana
At Rock-a-Bye Lady Children’s Shop, these are toys that are so great that they not only last but become treasured items! Books, puzzles, games, stuffed animals…it’s absolutely amazing.
You can’t miss the large dollhouse in the middle of the shop. It’s very detailed and amusing. You’ll also notice the round baby crib (is that neat or what!) and the castle. Full of knights, nooks, and crannies, it was hard to tear our boys away. Until they saw the pirate ship!
There’s just so much to see and touch and discover–just the way the toy shopping experience should be! If you’ve been using big box for your toy needs, you won’t believe the difference when you step inside an Indiana town toy shop. There’s just nothing else like it!
Madison, Indiana Toy Store
For close to forty years, Rock-a-Bye Lady has been the place to go for quality toys, games, and puzzles. Baby items, toddler toys (Kid #2 tested those for you, there’s good stuff here!), and toys for the bigger boys and girls all have a place in this Indiana toy store.
We couldn’t leave without a purchase, either. This time? Richard Scarry’s book, Cars, Trucks, and Things that Go. It’s a classic that Kid #1 loved…until he tore out pages when he was a toddler. We couldn’t wait to share it with Kid #2!
Where does the name Rock-a-Bye Lady come from? An old nursery rhyme:
“The Rock-a-Bye lady from Hushaby Street
Comes stealing; comes creeping;
The poppies they hang from her head to her feet,
And each hath a dream that is tiny and fleet –
She bringeth her poppies to you, my sweet,
When she findeth you sleeping…
You won’t find this type of excitement at the big box shops. Run to Rock-a-Bye Lady in Madison, Indiana for all the fun you can handle.
There’s nothing like an Indiana town toy store. You’ll love it!
