What do you do when the economy takes a nose-dive and your small business is having trouble staying in business?

Well, when Warm Glow Candle Company Outlet (also in Centerville, Indiana) offers you an opportunity to move your cafe inside of their large space, you take it! Stone Hearth Cafe moved from their downtown locale to inside the lofty building dishing out amazing menu items.

It’s definitely a different sort of atmosphere here. Stone Hearth Cafe is tucked away inside the sprawling warehouse-style outlet shop. A grouping of chairs and tables are situated in front of the long counter area. The location may not make for a very private lunch but it sure does make for a fantastically delicious lunch!

The boys and I ordered pizza: Sausage and Cheese for them and a separate Mediterranean pizza for me: a pizza loaded with Feta cheese, chicken, black olives, and more. It was so very, very good!

Our boys let me try a bite of theirs, too and yup–still excellent! I really like the pizza crust at Stone Hearth  Cafe. It’s really nicely done.

My husband, Jeremy, ordered the Beef Brisket Sandwich. It’s only available Friday and Saturday. It’s not only a family recipe, it’s smoked right here at Stone Hearth Cafe. Mmm…nothing beats a commercial smoker–this monster of a commercial smoker was even specially made.

As wonderful as our meal was, you would not believe the dessert! Homemade pies and cake that will just knock your socks off! These images are just a small sampling of the amazing array of homemade desserts found right here at Stone Hearth Cafe.

  1. It is just so unbelievably good–I can see why! I’d stop twice two, if I could! :)

  2. This is one of my favorite places to stop! We stop here on the way to Dresden and if we leave early enough on the way home! Love the ice cream!
