When you need coffee or some other great drink, the Daily Grind in Nashville, Indiana is the perfect place to begin.
This Brown County coffee shop has plenty of selection and loads of atmosphere. Although it isn’t a large space, it certainly feels like one of the friendliest.

It was a gorgeous day but we all needed a little pick-me-up. With many coffee drinks on the menu and more than 100 flavors available for “by the pound” purchase, you could say that you have some choices to make.
The boys wanted smoothies (with whipped cream). I ordered an iced chai tea (which happens to be one of my favorite things ever–hot or cold). I was glad to see one on the menu. My husband, Jeremy, had a very large mocha drink with steamed hot chocolate and loads of whipped cream.
He’s all about the fun coffee drinks. Any place that doesn’t hold back on the whipped cream topping is a definite win in my book. It was over-the-top and tasty. Our boys’ beverages were just as appealing. They both wanted hot chocolate. No big surprise, there. They, too, enjoyed every last drop.

Although there are quite the range of coffees to choose from on their great big wall of flavors, like chocolate raspberry or butterscotch or Irish cream, and all sorts of other unique drinks (like Oatmeal Slipper, a creamy drinkable oatmeal), they do serve food here at this rustic looking coffee shop, too.
Even so, for those wondering, you can find thick Belgian waffles, eggs, and a selection of sandwiches around lunch time. These are more along the lines of light, quick lunches. You can eat well and have something delicious in a shorter amount of time.
We didn’t get a chance to try any food items but I think we can add that to our list the next time we roll through beautiful Brown County. I’m always up for a good breakfast. Based on what we saw during our time at the Daily Grind, I’m hopeful that they will serve it up right.

Since 1977, the Daily Grind has been serving up hot, steaming cups of coffee. With such longevity, you know they know what they are doing.
Plus, I just love the idea of this cute and unique way to be “famous” here on the left for the Daily Grind customers. Buy one of their t-shirts, snap a picture of yourself in some interesting vacation destination, and then mail it to them. They will post it up on their for the world to see. Neat idea, don’t you think?
