The Snugg carries cases for every iPad. The iPad mini, iPad 2, and mine, the iPad with retina display. They cover it all. In fact, they cover it very well.
I like choices and I like color. The Snugg crafts iPad cases in your basic black but also in pink, brown, white, gray, green, shades of blue, and my favorite: red. As you can see, it’s pretty obvious which color I picked.

As I’ve mentioned already, we each use the iPad a bit differently. I use it for web reading, navigation, small town stuff while on the road, and word puzzle games. My husband uses it to help him figure out how to fix things around the house and for the fun apps. We both use it in the kitchen for recipes.
Kid #1 uses it to study his spelling words, practice math, and to play Angry Birds as a reward for a job well done. Kid #2 has a lot of books and preschool educational apps.
Even so, The Snugg worked for all of us. With it’s built-in flip stand, I could easily get a better view while puttering around in the kitchen–the same goes for my husband. The boys didn’t find the case too bulky either. It’s the right size to protect the case while ensuring a nice grip. This isn’t a flimsy iPad cover. Even our youngest had a better grasp on the iPad with this case. He seemed less likely to drop it, too.
Access to the ports at all times means I can spend less time fiddling around with it trying to get it plugged in and can just charge the thing already. There is a loop for a stylus as well as an interior elastic band for holding or walking or reading, just so you know.
