Why did you start Welcome To The Motherhood?
I started To the Motherhood in 2007, a year after the birth of my son, because I wanted to connect with other moms. It was also a way for me to chronicle my son growing up. However, I’ve been blogging for several years.
My original blog, Fashion Fling, launched in 2004. Blogging has helped me grow personally and professionally.
What about that name? Why did you choose Welcome To The Motherhood?
I chose this name, because seemingly all of the “good” blog names were taken. I’ll admit that I wasn’t too fond of the name at first, but I eventually warmed up to it.

Since I consider my blog to be nicheless, they’ll see a little bit of everything – photography, reviews, recipes, home decorating, and fashion.
You like to save time and spend less: what’s your favorite tip for a hidden way to save?
I love bargain shopping! I love to scour the clearance racks, and I also love going to consignment stores and rummage sales – you just never know what you’ll find!
You have a few other blogs. What a busy lady. Care to give us the rundown on the other sites you own?
Since I love fashion, you’ll see a lot of fashion-related posts at Fashion Fling. Hence the name, The Beauty Counter is where I blog about make-up and skincare. House of Bella is where I share my favorite home décor and furniture finds.
