The store front is attractive, clean, and understated. The open door beckoned me in. I was powerless to resist. As a part of my first visit here, the shop had only recently been opened. It was definitely getting some great attention. There was a lot of activity inside, as groups of people clustered around, inhaling and marveling over the lovely soaps. There as plenty of room for everyone. This is a very large and bright soap shop.
Inside Johanna Lee Bathology
Everyone was picking up and smelling the gorgeous soaps. She has all natural cold press soaps in all kinds of scents. Do you want a few examples? I thought you would! You will find soaps like Morning Meadow, Peppermint, Honeysuckle, Seaweed Scrub, Orange Oatmeal, and Honey Almond soaps to name a few. There’s so many kinds to choose from. It doesn’t matter whether or not you enjoy the scents of flowers or food, she has them all here. The kids gravitated toward a section of soaps made just for them. They featured cute images of friendly animals. Jeez, with soap that looks that good, it’s possible our sons may actually willingly bathe without a fight, every now and again. Imagine that!
She also has an interesting product called a lotion bar. Apparently these lotion bars are made to melt at body temperature so, although you wouldn’t want to keep them in your pocket or in a hot place, they can be kept in a purse or on a desk so you can grab the bar and have a little lotion any time you need, without the unnecessarily packaging and mess of bottles. They would be great in an airplane flight as well. You wouldn’t have to worry about exploding containers. I think that is such a fun and convenient idea. These lotion bars come in a lot of scents as well, like Lilac, Black Raspberry Vanilla, Asian Plum, and even unscented.
Brown County is full of fantastic one of a kind shops just like Johanna Lee Bathology. These all-natural soaps would make a great gift–for you or a friend. This beautiful shop has something sweet-smelling to fit every taste.
