The vivid yellow box will make any preschool anxious to get to the game–and the cute graphics of frog, fish, and duck are so adorable, even adults won’t mind playing “just one more time!”
Players will take turns spinning the spinner. Land on yellow, green, or purple and choose the appropriate matching puzzle piece. Land on the rainbow and you get to choose whichever puzzle piece you need. Players can interact to make sure everyone is on the same page.
It might sound easy, and it probably would be, if it weren’t for those pesky raindrop spaces! The goal is to get all three four-piece puzzles completed–without filling up the raindrop spaces first!
Family Game Night for Preschool Kids
Our four year old really loves puzzles. I knew this Peaceable Kingdom game would be a good fit for him and I was definitely right!
The pieces are sturdy and so carefully done. They are just adorable.
We’ve played Sunny Day Pond quite a few times now and he loves it! I somehow snag a raindrop on every other turn and that just cracks him up!
Great Preschool Board Games
You really can’t go wrong with titles from Peaceable Kingdom. We’ve played more than a few (Willy’s Wiggly Web and Race to the Treasure are a couple of our favorites) and Sunny Day Pond still manages to hold its own.
