4th Street Emporium in Chesterton, Indiana holds a unique selection of awesome Indiana antiques! From the big as life statues in the back to the vintage carousel animals in the front window and all the books, furniture, clothing, linens, and housewares in between–you are in for one amazing browsing experience. This Chesterton, Indiana antique shop is so much fun! It’s been around a long time so you can expect a lot of looking under, over, and in between to find all the stuff.
Make sure to chit chat with the owner. There are so many things tucked inside this huge former post office turned antique mall that she will very likely mention something you didn’t even see! Yeah, those incredible statues that you see down below, well, I somehow managed to walk past ALL THREE of them without even noticing. You can bet that made me feel a bit silly! After she mentioned them I backtracked and headed over to check them out. Wow. I’ve never seen anything like them! They were part of a former bachelor pad of a well-traveled man that became a married man with a wife who hated them.
You just won’t believe the unique things you will find inside this one. Just the way I like it! Pop into this Porter County antique shop and let me know your experience in the comments below!
