Cherry White Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
Someone take these Cherry White Chocolate Chip Cookies away from me now! Today! We just can’t stay out of them!
There’s a lot to love about a cookie that’s much like a chocolate chip cookie but with a delicious, delicious twist: chopped up Maraschino Cherries and White Chocolate Chips.
A cup of coffee goes very well with them to cut the sweetness. I prefer slightly less chips in general so next time I think I’ll add only a heaping cup of White Chocolate Chips instead of two full cups of them.
Mine turned out a bit flat which could be due to the weather or it could just be one of those days, ya know? Still, no one will care after a bite of these fantastic cherry cookies!

Cherry White Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Butter, Softened
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon Almond (or Vanilla) Extract
- 2 1/4 Cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 Package (10-12 Ounces) Vanilla or White Chips
- 1 Jar (10 Ounces) Maraschino Cherries, Drained and Chopped
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, cream Butter and Sugars.
- Add in Eggs, beating well.
- Beat in Extract.
- Combine Flour, Baking Soda, and Salt. Gradually add in to the creamed mixture.
- Add in Vanilla Chips and Cherries.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls 2" apart on greased or parchment lined baking sheets.
- Bake 375* for 9-12 minutes or until light golden brown.
- Move to cooling racks.
