In 50’s style, Peggy Sue’s boasts homemade items! We enjoyed the fast-paced environment and counter seating while we celebrated Kid #2’s birthday. He loved sitting at the counter. He felt like such a big kid! That’s the thing about small town diners, you have got to try the counter seating! Folks streamed in and out of Peggy Sue’s. This must be popular with the locals (that is always a good sign)! It was the kind of place that you know people visit at the same times every week, ordering the same things, and recognized by the servers. I love that kind of atmosphere. Again: you aren’t a number in a small town! It’s a nice feeling.
