A delicious pizza from Tomato Bar in Valparaiso, Indiana

Being the pizza lover that I am, it was no surprise that I chose to dine at Tomato Bar in Valparaiso. What better place to eat than a restaurant dedicated to creating the highest quality pizza pies that you can get your hands on?
My dining companion and I decided to go with a specialty pizza and ordered the A.L.F. Tanner – spicy alfredo base with mozzarella, provolone, bacon, chicken, shaved parmesan, and Italian seasoning all together on fresh hand-tossed dough made in-house daily.
The food tasted great, and the fun, inviting atmosphere of the restaurant made the dining experience even better.

The modern dining area made for a comfortable environment to enjoy our dinner in.
The menu is filled with many choices, including multiple salads such as Greek salad, Caesar salad and Californian salad, hoagies, calzones, and specialty pizzas.
Tomato Bar also features 20 beers on tap, including some of the area’s most popular microbrews.
They also serve ice cream from the Valparaiso-based Valpo Velvet Ice Cream for dessert.
Bet you can’t eat just one slice!

Our dining experience was great and the food was delicious. I would recommend the Tomato Bar to everyone. Their pizzas are available to dine in or for carry-out.
