Indiana Christmas Festivals and Events
Tonight is the first night for the Bremen Holy Walk. Don’t worry if you miss it, they do it again on Saturday, too. You know where to find the details. Hint: follow the link.
Grab your hat, your gloves, and a warm scarf. The Big Oaks National Wildlife Refuge needs your help for the Big Oaks NWR Annual Bird Count. All day or half day counts–it begins at 8 AM.
Danville continues their Winterland Christmas Show at Ellis Park. Drive through the light show extravanganza that includes a thirty foot tree and music playing through your car radio.
Get in to Davis Mercantile in Shipshewana to view the Gingerbread House Display. Vote for your favorite creation. It’s an ongoing event so make sure to pencil that one in.
Tours for the Christmas at Seiberling Mansion in Kokomo continue through December 22. Time is running out. Don’t miss your chance to view this amazing mansion in all of its holiday grandeur.
Get in a festive mood with Holiday Pops in Valparaiso. Enjoy the holiday favorites and sing-a-long at the Memorial Opera House. Discounted rates for seniors and military.
Santa’s Great Big LED Tree of Lights is going strong in Kris Kringle Plaza. This Santa Claus, Indiana favorite will have little ones clapping with delight. It’s easy to find, too.
Sure, it’s a little chilly out there, but it’s also a great time to get out and see a little nature–while doing something that doesn’t involve eating Christmas cookies. Participate in the Winter Bird Hike at McCloud Nature Park in North Salem. Guides will show you the nests of area birds. Learning is fun again.
December 19 marks Holiday in the Park at the Washington Township Park Pavilion Center in Avon.
