For those that don’t, well, I’d like to introduce you to Proflowers.com, who graciously offered to send <em>little Indiana</em> one item of my choice for an honest review <em>for free</em>.</p>
<p><a href="http://littleindiana.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/ProflowerBonsai.jpg" rel='prettyPhoto[gallery1]'><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin-left: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; margin-right: 0px" title="Palm Sago Bonsai from Proflowers.com" src="http://littleindiana.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/ProflowerBonsai_thumb.jpg" border="0" alt="Palm Sago Bonsai from Proflowers.com" width="199" height="299" align="left" /></a> Sure I could have chosen one of the <em>many </em>gift baskets with chocolate or fruit but, and I know you will be surprised when I say this: <em>I didn’t go after the food</em>. Instead, I chose the <a href="http://products.proflowers.com/plants/Sago-Palm-Bonsai-30002001?viewpos=10&amp;trackingpgroup=srp&amp;Ref=organicyahgeneric" target="_blank">Palm Sago Bonsai</a>. Well, I do go out of my way for food quite often and sending food through the mail just isn’t me – but sending something living? <em>Totally.</em></p>
<p>Let me just say that I am <em>beyond </em>impressed! This baby was packed amazingly well – and it’s<em> big</em>! Tape held the 16” tall plant in place and prevented dirt from spraying out all over the place during shipping. The leaves mostly look healthy (I’ve got a couple funky curling leaves but those will heal in time). Plus, they have a prickly feel which should effectively deter the <em>large </em>orange kitties in our house.</p>
<p>All in all, if I sent one of these bad boys to someone – <em>they would be delighted</em>. What a wonderful reminder of summer during the <a href="http://littleindiana.com/2010/02/indiana-winter-oh-yeah-its-cold/" target="_blank">dreadfully long winter</a>!</p>
<p><em>Disclaimer: The opinions of this blog post are mine and mine alone. The Palm Sago Bonsai was sent directly to me at no charge in exchange for a truthful review. I was not monetarily compensated for this review.</em></p>
