The Peacock Perch in Rossville, Indiana
Once upon a time this tidy shop was a laundromat! The new owners took a lot of time trying to get the building into shape and ready to go.
They have done a fabulous job–this Clinton County antique shop is very welcoming.
So named for the peacocks that the couple raise, there are a few nods to peacocks here and there. Scattered feathers, a couple of peacock-related art pieces, and the bold, vibrant blue paint on the wall are a great compliment to the tin ceilings.

The Peacock Perch Antiques and Books has some very interesting items at their small Indiana town shop.
At the time of my visit, there were three very vintage baby carriages in great shape, wonderful antique picture frames, a variety of fishing lures, buttons, and all sorts of knickknacks.
My personal favorite? The old books! We saw children’s books like Clifford the Big Red Dog series and assorted Little Golden Books.
