It’s easy to miss a little Indiana article here and there. I do update every day! But have no fear, the weekly recap is here!

From our stay at an old train depot turned bed and breakfast to sleeping in a rental RV and seeing a weaver in action, this was an incredible week! I also gave you an update on little Indiana’s Good Deed Challenge  (since it’s been a year now!). There’s a few antique and gift shops thrown in as well. Plus, I took advantage of cooler weather and made an easy Eggplant Parmesan recipe and one of our family’s favorites: Vanilla Granola! So good.

If you think this week was great, just wait until next week!

Riley's Railhouse: Chesterton, Indiana Lodging

Riley's Railhouse: Chesterton, Indiana Lodging

Sublette’s Ribs Images from Monticello, Indiana — There’s nothing more sad than when an Indiana mom and pop restaurant closes–or, worse, completely burns to the ground because of fire like Sublette’s Ribs in Monticello, Indiana.

Log House Antiques in Cambridge City, Indiana: Indiana Art, Gifts, and More — Landmark navigators will find it easy to spot Log House Antiques in Cambridge City, Indiana. Yes, this Indiana antique shop is set inside an actual log cabin that dates back to the 1800?s!

Switzerland County Museum in Vevay, Indiana — Prepare to be wowed by the Switzerland County Museum in Vevay, Indiana. One of Indiana’s oldest historical societies (it was formed in 1925), this is a well-organized, well-preserved, and extensive look into the past!

Easy Eggplant Parmesan Recipe — Ready for something different for dinner tonight? This is such an easy recipe for Eggplant Parmesan. So, okay, it’s the only Eggplant Parmesan I I’ve ever made before–but it seemed a lot less foofy than most.

Homemade Vanilla Granola Recipe — Homemade Vanilla Granola smells so good when it’s baking thanks to a touch of cinnamon–but you’ll the end result even more.

Tabby Tree Weaver in Arcadia, Indiana — Tabby Tree Weaver in Arcadia, Indiana is unlike anything you’ve been to yet. I can say that because, as of this writing, little Indiana and family has visited over 90 Indiana towns–and have never seen the likes of Tabby Tree Weaver before!

Riley’s Railhouse Bed and Breakfast in Chesterton, Indiana — Knowing that Riley’s Railhouse in Chesterton, Indiana is a train depot turned Indiana bed and breakfast still didn’t prepare us for what we found. Trains, trains, and more trains–along with simple elegance, abundant coziness, and small town friendliness.

little Indiana’s Challenge: One Year Later — Now that it’s been just over a year, I thought I would update all of you on what I termed last year as little Indiana’s good deed challenge. In case you missed that article, our mission is simple: my husband and I always stop for motorists stranded on our side of the road. Always.

Danville, Indiana: Carla’s Creations and Gifts — There’s a lot of interesting items crammed into Carla’s Creations and Gifts in Danville, Indiana. As part of the downtown square, I can’t imagine a more convenient location to snag a couple of last minute gifts!

Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort Images from Santa Claus, Indiana — A lot of things have changed since I took these images of Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort in Santa Claus, Indiana a year ago. That’s my old laptop and I am happy to see that my photography skills have improved. But some things never change: if you are looking for an Indiana campground with a bit of Christmas cheer, you have definitely found it.

Hagerstown, Indiana: Bell Upholstery — You don’t run into unique buildings like the one that holds Bell Upholstery and The Corner Oak in Hagerstown, Indiana every day! This two in one Wayne County shop is big on character.
