Cicada Guessing Contest

Cicada Guessing Contest

Every year cicadas hatch and leave behind a shell. Every year our boys like to pick them from the trees in our Indiana town and collect them!

These dried husks are carefully placed in our boys’ bug house. Each year they see if they can fill it up–before dumping it out and starting all over again the next year. Yes, this thing sits in our house all year.

That left me thinking…how about a cicada counting contest? In addition to bragging rights to this new annual contest that really creeps my husband out, whomever can guess the answer correctly or is closest to the answer without going over, can have their choice of ONE of the items below.

In the event of a tie, I will assign each person a number and then use Random.org to select a winner.
