French Lick Springs Resort Rooms in French Lick, Indiana

Things to Do in French Lick, IndianaLittle Indiana and family had a basic room: two queen beds, armoire, desk, and a shower in the bathroom. It’s the traditional guest room (385 square feet) at the resort. There’s also a premium guest room (450 square feet), a suite (528 square feet), a specialty suite, RV slips, and even pet-friendly rooms.

Take advantage of the four mile wellness path or the mile long Ferguson Trail that connects the two resort hotels. Give Fido some exercise and enjoy the beauty.

French Lick Springs Resort may have been built in a time when people on average were shorter–but you wouldn’t know that from the high ceilings in this room. With what I believe are somewhere around 10 foot tall ceilings paired up with lovely crown molding, our simple room felt very airy and rather grand. It was a nice feature. The 720 thread count sheets were wonderful.

Toddlers love baths like I love travel–I was shocked that our room didn’t have one. I did try to switch out for a room with a tub, but they didn’t have any available at the time. Showers can be scary for a toddler. So it should be something to keep in mind if you want a room with a tub. It sounds like some do have that option but you may need to book well in advance to guarantee that one. At least we got plenty of pool time in so he got to splash and play like he always does.

We certainly had a room with a view. As usual, I commandeered the desk that sat next to the window. With my laptop set up and ready to go, I could almost feel the inspiration flowing. There is so much beauty here in unexpected places.

Our room overlooked the back portion of French Lick Springs Resort so we had a partial view of the gardens and the gazebo. I love that gazebo. Make sure to walk over and check it out. It’s a big part of the history here.

With coffee maker at hand, it was easy to wake up and work with half an eye gazing out the window at the people strolling around this lovely French Lick, Indiana property.
