Yesterday’s Antiques at Vinton House in Cambridge City, Indiana is such an eye-catching building. Built in 1847 as a hotel, this Federal-style building has two levels of antiques. The first floor features a fabulous selection of primitives. I do mean fabulous! There’s large pieces of furniture as well as toys. The second floor is quite large and holds an awesome assortment of more primitives and country style sort of items from vendors. As they call to call it, they carry lots of “purposeful clutter.”

little Indiana and family had so much fun browsing through the vintage toys and antique furniture at this great Wayne County antique shop. If you need chairs, you’ll want to head here. The second floor had so many vintage chairs in so many styles! I really wish we had had room. I love the look of mismatched chairs around an outdoor table.

Cambridge City, Indiana isn’t known as antique alley for nothing! Add this shop to your list for a variety of unique pieces. You won’t regret it! Of course, as a part of Indiana’s Antique Trail, you’ll be adding a good dozen shops to that list as well. You’ll have your shopping work cut our for you!
