Romney Toy Shop in Romney, Indiana is an absolute must go if you have any kids or toy collectors on your list. This small town Indiana toy shop is wall to wall awesome. Everything is arranged so it’s super easy to find–and wow is this place a find. You will not believe the prices. I can’t believe how long I have been driving past without being able to stop inside. When I think of all that I have missed…ugh. Don’t make my mistake.

But first things first. What can you expect to find at Romney Toy Shop? Well, this central Indiana locale stocks gently used toys that range from indoor to outdoor toys and even bicycles.

Board games, action figures, stuffed animals, well-known brands that boys and girls love (and have loved) for generations…it can be found at this used and collectible Tippecanoe County toy shop. It is incredibly organized. There are bins full of Little People from Fisher Price. There are other bins with action figures. We found vintage Star Trek figures and plenty of toy cars.

Our sons couldn’t believe the sheer number of excellent toys. Our oldest loved digging through a bin of parted out Lego Minifigures. He was able to connect heads, bodies, legs, and an accessory to create a person all his own. Being the serious Lego fan he is, however, he preferred to put them all together the way they were supposed to be, so he could add them to his collection.

What can’t you find inside this neat shop? I am still blown away by how clean and neat it is. Hey, that’s no small feat for a shop that caters to children. They can’t help but touch everything. I can’t help but relive my childhood just walking through the aisles. There are toys and board games that I played with and adored as a kid. I love that there’s a nice local option I can visit to find things I would like to share with my kids.

Parents on a tight budget can certainly benefit from a visit. Not only can you find a great deal on these wonderful toys, but there are many toys marked especially low. You can see how there are $1 bins in the image above. You just never know what you will find when you visit a consignment toy shop and for me, that is part of the appeal.

Now that I have finally been able to make it inside Romney Toy Shop, I can’t help but urge you to also check it out. It’s a wonderful place.
