Unique Indiana Cookbook…and Then Some

Hoosiers will appreciate the contribution folks made from towns like Cambridge City and Dublin and Lewisville. Pasta salads, cheese balls, gelatin salads, bean soup and many more are included in the Indiana section.

You probably won’t be surprised to know that there’s a recipe for Stuffed Morelsin the Historic National Road Yard Sale Cookbook too. We Indiana folks do love our morels, don’t we?

Maryland features Goat Pie and Roasted Raccoon. Illinois has a recipe for Brain Souffle. No, I’m not kidding. But don’t worry. There’s plenty more of your typical fare like Pretzel Crushed Vidalia Onion Mustard Chicken and Roasted Cognac Chicken in Baby Pumpkins, Pumpkin Bread and Baked Spaghetti.

There’s quite a few in here that I have on my “must  make” list–there are almost 200 pages of recipes in here. And, no, raccoon didn’t make it on that list.
