Spring will be here eventually, I’m sure. So? You have planning to do. We discovered a fantastic shabby chic haven in Scottsburg, enjoyed the gorgeous archways in Centerville, and stayed at an adorable guest cottage in Madison. We found time to revisit an Indiana barbecue joint in images.

Banana Cream Pie was on the menu and wow was that great. Comfort food must have been the theme this week because Brownies were part of it, too.

If you think this week was incredible just wait until next week.

It’s not only wonderful, but the atmosphere inside looks great, too. This would make a fabulous destination for a family, a date, or a business lunch.

Dove Cottage Guest House in Madison, Indiana — Madison, Indiana has so much to see and do–so why not stay in charming Dove Cottage Guest House to make it easier? Within walking distance of downtown Madison, and just off the river, the location was perfect. We loved being able to walk around instead of having to get into the car constantly.

Centerville, Indiana Arches: Unique Indiana Architecture — Platted in 1814, Centerville, Indiana is a very old Indiana town. It’s an interesting and unusual feature.
