You won’t find this blogger wearing something once, oh no! She doesn’t buy just anything, either. Her mission is spending less while getting a real bang for her buck with pieces that mix and match well.
She’s out to prove that the 40’s don’t have to mean frumpy and that living in Indiana doesn’t mean overalls!

Why did you start CurlyByrdie Chirps?
Well I love fashion and I am single mom that doesn’t have a lot of extra money for clothes . So I am always in search of a deal.
People ask me where do I get my clothes and I love telling them about the great deal I got on it. I started an instagram with my “OOTD’s” followed other bloggers and decided to follow my passion.
What about that name? Why CurlyByrdie Chirps?
The name came from my last name Byrd and my Naturally Curly hair which I recently started to embrace and me just chirping about my find. There is a curly movement going right now and I do talk about hair products on my blog occasionally.
What are three of your most favorite posts?
- #1 would be my first blog My First Blog … go easy .. this is where it all started and get to see how much I have grown.
- Weekend Fun… this one that I did with my 15 year old daughter it was great time downtown and I love that she got in front of camera.
- 3rd time is a Charm – I love the Red Boots and the pants. one of my favorite combo’s.
What keeps you ready and raring to post? Why do you blog?
I just love fashion and I love to show women that you don’t have break the bank to be fashionable.
What can people expect when they hop onto your blog?
That whatever I am wearing you can best bet I got it at a good deal.. LOL..
Have you always been into fashion or is this something new?
I have always been into fashion. I can remember in 3rd grade my Aunt and Uncle bought me this cute pink plaid skirt with a top with a pink rose on it.. and I literally could not sleep that night I was so excited to wear it.. so as far back as I can remember.
What’s your best bit of fashion advice as we slowly start heading into Spring?
Midi skirts and dresses are the rage right now.. and I love them.. also buy pieces that you can use 3 ways and that are easy to transition into the next season.
Do you have a particular style that you follow or certain pieces of clothing that you crave?
Dresses are my poison!! Is there anything that you can’t pass up? A dress for $5 or less.. never ..ever!
Is there anything else that you would like little Indiana readers to know about you or your blog?
I am just a 41 year old Mom that wants to feel fashionable. I want women to know that you can be a Mom.. take care of your kids.. work and look fabulous on a budget.
