What was once located just outside their door, this Dubois County antique shop has certainly grown and changed.

When I originally visit The Grainry, it was located on very peaceful property in Dale, Indiana. It had a lot of neat primitive items and, at only two weeks old, I could see the potential!
Well, this Southern Indiana antique shop has certainly benefited from the larger downtown space! The building itself is very nice. Built in the 1880’s, it’s an antique unto itself!
Still, in a town with several antique shops, this one holds it own.

The furniture here is just incredible! Very large, unique, and functional pieces line the walls and the center of the shop. It is truly fantastic!
But there’s more than furniture. You’ll find your typical Indiana antiques here as well as a few not so typical, of course! There’s a great selection of vintage magazines, post cards, books, and kitchen stuff.
They are constantly adding “new” vintage items to the mix from estate or homestead sales and auctions. I’ve been told that they possess far more than is located inside the shop so be sure to ask if you are on the hunt for a certain item. It’s possible they have it!
