Jordan’s Florist in Rensselaer, Indiana is a long-time florist and gifts destination, opening their doors back on April 11, 1977.

Locals might remember that it wasn’t always in its current location. Locals are good at things like that! They had two other different downtown locations before moving to its present convenient locale and once even included a books and music shop next to their flower business. It was located where The City Office and Pub currently stand.

But times changed and the decade-old bookstore was shelved when people stopped buying locally and turned to online and big box options. Business for the Indiana flower shop, however, was and is–booming! There’s no easier way to show you care than with a surprise bouquet.

I love the building. From the outside, it has nice shades of greens and yellow. But inside is where the magic happens! That’s where the fine folks at Jordan’s take flowers and arrange them into lovely bouquets. It’s where plants are growing in abundance and where sweet stuffed animals patiently wait for new owners.

There are many varieties of flowers here ready to head home! Customers will always find the usual roses, carnations, and daisies (my favorite!) as well as different offerings that might be in the case too like calla lilies, gerbera daisies, stargazer lilies, larkspur, and delphinium.

In fact, there’s more than a fragrant selection of flowers! I only briefly mentioned the rest of the shop but let me tell you–it’s huge!
