Trick or treat times for 2016 in Indiana aren’t always easy to find. Now, Little Indiana has made it simple. This is the largest and most comprehensive list of trick or treat times in the whole Hoosier state. If I missed one, please let me know. There are a lot of communities in our state–and I would hate for anyone to miss a thing. Speaking of missing a thing, take a look at the large list for haunted houses in Indiana. There’s still time!
To use the list of trick or treat times, simply search for your county, then look for your town. While the majority of Halloween trick or treat hours are set to occur on the actual date of Halloween (Monday, October 31), there’s still a nice smattering of trick or treat hours happening Saturday. In the case of one small Indiana town, they appear to have two days of trick or treating. What kid wouldn’t love that?
Make the most of the season. Before winter sets in, head out to some of the small town Indiana pumpkin patches and apple orchards near you. There’s nothing like freshly made apple cider, newly picked apples from a nearby orchard, local honey, and the connections you will build as you visit the same places year after year.
Those family traditions are so important. Besides, there is still time to pick up an affordably priced, unique pumpkin from a farm near you.
Trick or Treat Times List for Indiana 2016
Our family enjoys the frenzied rush from house to house. When we are finished, we head for home, and watch vintage Halloween cartoons, like the old Donald Duck and Goofy cartoons, with Halloween themes. My husband and I look over the kids’ candy, not only to beg our favorites from our boys, but “just in case.”
It’s a good night that’s full of memories. Depending on the weather, we sometimes dress up along with our kids. They love that. I have to admit that we find it fun too. You can bet it makes for great photos. Why not surprise the little ones in your house and play along?
