Two buildings, a couple of greenhouses, and loads of plants–the sudden pop of vivid colors and leafy greens at this White County garden center is a sight for sore eyes.

If plants had legs, they would run when they saw me coming! If something can’t tell me when it’s thirsty, it doesn’t stand much of a chance. But here? Everywhere you look things are blooming and bursting with summer blossoms.
Big plants, small plants, annuals and perennials, herbs and fruit, they had a bit of everything–and even a few containers of water plants.
This is quite the find in a small Indiana town, wouldn’t’cha say?

You know that I like the feeling of getting lost in a place. Garden Station takes up a full block and is riddled with hidden walking paths that wind their way around the greenery.
Turn one way and you’ll find an aisle of pottery! Bright blues and other colors in pots of all sizes line up in neat little rows.
Try a different direction and you’ll find yourself surrounded by concrete lawn and garden decor. That’s where I found the graceful garden fairy on the right. There’s pet memorials and all sorts of items made from concrete available.

If you ever thought big box was the only option when it came to your garden or landscaping needs…you’ll need to make the trip to this Indiana town!
We made a few purchases here ourselves and, would you believe, they even potted them onsite for us? Garden Station in Monticello, Indiana has plants so lovely, I think even I’ll be able to keep them alive this time.
