From the outside, you just get that feeling that it’s going to be good. There’s a small smattering of eye-catching items on the sidewalk beckoning folks to venture within. Who can resist an invitation like that? Certainly not I.

Once inside, it’s apparent just how eclectic Junk and Disorderly Antiques and Resale really is.

Love rock music? You’ll find a big variety of memorabilia from a lot of different rock musicians. Wall art, stuff that sits around, there’s a bunch of it here. In fact, you’ll even find the old LP’s!

At Junk and Disorderly, they pride themselves on their assortment of rock memorabilia. If you are a collector, chances are you will find your next “I must have that item to add to my collection” thing right here.

There’s plenty more where that came from! My husband made a beeline to the comic books and graphic novels. We left him to browsing while the boys and I searched for old toys and board games. The boys and I enjoyed looking through the vintage board games (you know how much we love playing those!).

Junk and Disorderly didn’t disappoint! They had several board games I had never seen before–as well as a few on my list. Win/win.

Shelves also held various tchochkes and collectible items. There’s a few pieces here that are really something and definitely something else to add to my “nothing I’ve ever seen before” list.

Our boys liked looking at all the different vintage toys at this Indiana town shop, too! Barbie, GI Joe, superheroes of all kinds…that was neat! I was in complete agreement on that one. The way those toys have changed over the years is so interesting.

But the ample jewelry counter caught my eye. I just love that vintage jewelry. It always makes me wonder about the story behind it. Even my wedding band is vintage. On the inside, there’s an inscription, “C.H. to M.A. April 19, 1930. I wonder what happened to them. Were they happy? Did they live long, full lives? I continue my hunt for other pieces to own.
