framed shot for $280. The store also sells a series of posters that pay tribute to everything from Valparaiso University’s mens basketball team, to Indiana Dunes State Park, to unique doors in Valparaiso.
Air One even sells the book it produced, “Northwest Indiana, A Different View,” which features more than 100 aerial shots from across the region.
“I have such a plethora and mix of subject matter, from barns, to churches, to dunescapes, to lighthouses, to old cars,” Cavanaugh said. “That’s what people get so surprised about. If you mention it, I’ve probably shot it.”
But the art is only part of what draws people to Air One. The store also has an in-house portrait studio, offers wedding photography, and does graphic design, large-format printing, custom framing and photo duplication and restoration.
