Grandpa’s Trains and Things in Kouts, Indiana was a great train shop and then some.
Since beginning little Indiana, I have walked around far more train-related shops and museums than I ever thought possible! I loved Grandpa’s Trains and Things for a lot of reasons: varied stock, reasonable pricing, and the first image shown below.
That’s the thing about Indiana towns and the mom and pop businesses in them. Everything stays personal–just the way I like it. Can you imagine a sign like the one seen below on the door of a corporate-owned business? Well, here’s reason #2,456 why I prefer those Indiana mom and pop shops! Is that the cutest thing or what?
