Journey’s End in Bourbon, Indiana is the place to be when you have a craving for a good Pork Tenderloin Sandwich and Beer Battered Fries! My husband, Jeremy, and I sat in the shiny new family dining section of this Bourbon, Indiana restaurant and had a fantastic late lunch. We were so hungry after a big drive but the town was so small we were trying not to get our hopes up. After we saw Journey’s End was open, we couldn’t get inside fast enough! It smelled really good in there.
As usual, we asked for recommendations on what to order. You do know that that is the best way to get a meal that you will absolutely love, right? She recommended the pork tenderloin sandwich. I claimed immediate “dibs” on that one. She also said they do great fries. Well, golly, count me in! My husband had a huge, sloppy, knife and fork kind of burger thing going on. They called it a Texas Chili Cheeseburger. He really enjoyed it but we both agreed that my pork tenderloin sandwich was one of the most memorable yet. Seriously, those Beer Battered Fries are absolutely incredible! I cannot get them out of my head.
My Pork Tenderloin Sandwich, as you can probably gather from the images below, was ginormous. Really, it’s as big as your head! No way could I finish it, especially after all the mozzarella bites I ate. There was no end to the delicious food found inside. I can’t recommend Journey’s End in Bourbon, Indiana enough. Fabulous food, period.
