Sometimes the best things we ever find are those that are the most unexpected–like Used Bookstore Exchange in Monticello, Indiana. This garage turned used bookstore was so full of books I couldn’t get hubs to leave!
This Monticello, Indiana business also has a story. It’s more than a way to make a buck. In fact, owner Juanita’s only goal is to keep the power on! Instead, this was the result of careful family planning.
You see, Juanita’s grandson has been battling cancer for a long time. Instead of sitting around worrying about the future, her family decided to keep her busy and combine her love of books with her love of meeting new people! The Used Bookstore Exchange was born. This Indiana bookstore is so much fun–and we walked away with an armful of books for the kids!
