Step inside and prepare to be amazed–this building is a lot bigger than you probably thought! In fact, there are over 6,000 square feet of Indiana antiques here to browse and enjoy. You would never guess it from the outside.
Shelves of dishware in all sorts of colors lies in wait. There was a ton of unique colorful dishware. It would not be difficult to revamp your kitchen after a visit here.
There’s also teacups and furniture, vintage cards and holiday decor, and excellent books. I felt like a kid in a candy store. There was a good amount of everything. An antique shop with an overabundance of one particular item is never as interesting to me as a shop like Swayzee’s. They seem to have a lot of vintage items in every type, color, and style. I guess that’s what happens when you have such a large space for an antique shop.

With so much space, you can bet there are a LOT of vendors. You know what that means, right? Loads of unique items that range so differently from one booth to the next. You might find vintage clothing and then find a neat shelf of old, fantastic kitchen items. There’s a row of books, yet over there are antique fishing things.
Love brooches? Me too! Swayzee Antique Mall has quite the selection. One vendor had a Costume jewelry, quilts, linens, yeah, that’s all right here in this Grant County antique shop, too.
When I was wandering through this amazing treasure trove, I couldn’t help but overhear a man that stated that his wife already had something while she insisted that she didn’t. They saw me and cracked up a little about their disagreement. It was pretty cute.
I couldn’t help but ask how long they had been married. Forty years. Isn’t that cute? I liked that they still had a sense of humor about it and weren’t just picking at each other.
