The Winchester Farmer’s Market in Winchester, Indiana was really incredible! We headed in to town to grab breakfast at Round the Corner Cafe right nearby. We couldn’t believe the number of local farmers and artisans presenting their wares. I could not wait to run over and check it all out. There was a whole block of vendors!
From homemade goat milk soaps to fresh jams and jellies to locally produced produce to cupcakes to socks and scarves, there was something for everyone at this Randolph County farmer’s market. So busy and full of people, it was just really nice to see. All of the vendors were so friendly and eager to answer questions about their wares. Which was a good thing–there were quite a few unusual vendors that you don’t see every day. One woman had a vintage machine to help with her knitting while a man had an interesting cart to tote around his vegetables.
This is a seasonal affair. The Winchester farmer’s market is not a year long event so do not delay too long in getting over to this Central Indiana town early enough on a Saturday morning! I am absolutely positive you will not regret it. Just be sure to give yourself plenty of time to browse before it closes up for the day.
