This Jefferson County lodging option is so cute! I just want to pick it up and put it in my pocket.

From the cozy living room to the adorable kitchen and spacious balcony, it has all the basics you need (yes, even a coffee maker and coffee)!

Head down the stairs and you’ll discover a quiet log-lined room. It was the perfect place for our boys to sleep. They had plenty of space to play! Next to that lies a sitting room with access to the garden area outside.

Everything about Dove Cottage Guest House in Madison is adorable!

I don’t want you to think that it’s so teeny tiny that you will bump into you and yours while walking around inside because it isn’t that small! It’s just big enough for four people. Kind of like the story of the three bears, it felt “just right.”

My husband, Jeremy, and I really liked that the kids had a space downstairs to giggle and play with their race cars without being underfoot.

There isn’t a TV in the upstairs living room but that didn’t bother us one bit. It’s located downstairs but since I’m an early riser, I like to get ready in the morning without worrying about waking up everyone. It was so nice to spend a quiet evening reading our latest finds from That Book Place bookstore.

LOL! He is SO nice! It’s really cute and close enough to town so you don’t have to drag the car along. We had awesome weather one day and woke up to big, fat flakes of snow the next! Strange but kind of neat to see it in TWO seasons! Ha ha! Enjoy your stay!

  2. Ahh! Chris and I are staying at Dove Cottage this weekend! I was just researching and trying to find pics, and of course your site popped up. It looks so quaint, and Bob has been SO nice over the phone! I can’t wait!
