Quick Breadsticks Recipe: Little Rising Required

Total Time: 35 minutes


I've been making this recipe for many years now. It's so fast and easy!


  • 1 Cup Warm Water
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Yeast
  • 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Oil
  • 3 Cups Bread Flour
  • Topping
  • Melted Butter
  • Garlic Salt and Parmesan Cheese


  1. Combine Yeast in Warm Water. Let rest for five minutes.
  2. Add Brown Sugar, Oil, and Flour.
  3. Knead with dough hook until a soft ball forms.
  4. Roll out into a 10 x 12 rectangle.
  5. Using a pizza cutter, cut into strips around 3/4" wide. Twist and place on a greased cookie sheet or parchment paper.
  6. Let rise for a minimum of 20 minutes.
  7. Bake at 375* for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Brush with butter and sprinkle with garlic salt and Parmesan cheese.
